Dear badminton player,
This year, the Senior Games will be organized in September 2009 in the Dutch province Zeeland, and an estimated 3,000 athletes 50 years and older from all over Europe are expected to join.
Participants will compete during this Multi-sport Event in no less than 21 major sports. This event is the first of its kind in Europe, a unique opportunity for the Netherlands.
Badminton is one of the main sports in the Senior Games 2009 program. Beneath one can find the specific information concerning the badminton competition.

Participation
Registration is open to members of Badminton clubs affiliated with Badminton Europe or the Badminton World Federation.
Venue
Terneuzen, Sportcentrum Vliegende Vaart.
Tournament
Single, double and mixed-double for women and men.
It is possible to register as seeking a partner. This can be indicated on the registration form.
Conditions
Matches will be played according to the rules set forth by the Badminton World Federation and an additional set of tournament rules.
